General Information
The OVS Seeking Solutions Summit is a biennial gathering of OVS-funded advocates and allied professionals to learn about a specific topic that will improve their ability to serve victims and survivors of crime in New York State. This year's summit, Expanding Access for Survivors, will bring participants together to define and outline key impacts of the Fair Access to Victim Compensation Act and other changes meant to improve access to OVS Compensation, identify innovative ways service providers are working together to improve and increase access to services, for OVS to understand what is working well, and how we can continue to improve access to compensation, and to expand access to trusted services in communities most impacted by violence.
This 1-day in-person event will be held August 13, 2026.
