Peju Oyeyemi

Peju Oyeyemi is Common Justice's Assistant Director of Trauma Support. Prior to joining Common Justice, Peju served as a Director of Community Programs at Safe Horizon, where she provided short-term counseling and crisis intervention support to victims of crime and violence. Peju works in private practice as a psychotherapist providing mental health and emotional support to individuals and families with a range of mental health needs. Throughout her career, Peju has worked with diverse populations domestically and abroad, including children and families, and immigrants and refugees.

Peju holds a B.A. from SUNY College at Plattsburgh and an M.S.W from the Boston College School of Social Work. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the State of New York.
